This weekend the trust received some fantastic publicity for the HLF funded project when an article which we prompted and helped to compose appeared on the front page of our local newspaper the Derby Telegraph. The article which continued on a couple of inside pages identified the historic at risk buildings which we are investigating and asked the readers to vote for the one which they wished to be saved.
We are hoping that our work will lead to solutions for saving all of these buildings, but the poll is a useful tool to gage public opinion and helps to highlight the plight of not only the favourite, but all of the buildings.
