Date: Tuesday 24th June 2025
Location: Darley Abbey Village Hall, Abbey Yard, Darley Abbey, Derby, DE22 1DS
Directions and Parking: Darley Abbey Village Hall is situated in Abbey Yard which is off New Road in the heart of Darley Abbey, Derby. There is a small public car park at the front of the hall, so on-site parking is limited. However, the hall is only a short walk from the free Darley Street Car Park.
Time: Drop-in any time between 12.30pm-2.30pm
Details: Drop-in session for information and support with Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust’s ‘Buildings at Risk’ (B@R) project and the B@R app developed by our colleagues at the West Midlands Historic Buildings Trust with support from Historic England.
Whether you have downloaded the app and aren’t sure how to get started, you missed our launch events and would like to know more about the project, or you have already been out and about surveying Grade II Listed Buildings in Amber Valley and Derby City but have some questions- all are welcome! You will have the opportunity to speak to one of our friendly team members, who will do their very best to resolve any issues, offer support and answer your questions.
If you have a specific query that you would like our help with, why not email us in advance of your visit so that we can be better prepared to resolve it quickly on the day? Our email address is: volunteers@derbyshirehistoricbuildingstrust.org.uk
We hope to be launching the ‘Buildings at Risk’ project in some new areas of the county in the coming months, so now is the perfect time to get your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you there!
Can’t make it on 24th June? No problem! We are available throughout the week for email support, or you can arrange a 1:1 support session with one of our team members at our headquarters in Wirksworth. Email us to arrange a time and date to suit you. We are also currently organising an exciting ongoing programme of support and social events linked to our ‘Buildings at Risk’ project.
Follow us @dhbtrust on social media to be the first to hear about our latest updates.
