A Sweet Tribute to Wingfield Station!

At our recent B@R launch in South Derbyshire, we were joined by Eireni, who shared that she and her partner had recently got married.

Their wedding cake? None other than a beautiful (and delicious!) model of Wingfield Station – lovingly crafted by a friend. Even the wagons were included, made as the ‘free from’ cakes!

We think it’s one of the sweetest tributes to one of our historic sites we’ve ever seen!
