Join us at Melbourne Hall for a 'Live Leadwork Showcase' with ASBC Heritage & Conservation Specialists - the Derbyshire-based contractors who delivered Phase 1 of the repair works at Wingfield Station.

Taking place at the Carriage Ring, this free public event offers a rare chance to see traditional leadworking skills demonstrated live by experienced conservation craftspeople.

Thursday 12th March | 10am–3pm | Free entry | All welcome

Visitors can:

  • Watch live heritage skills demonstrations

  • Take part in hands-on activities

  • Ask questions and chat with conservation experts

Whether you’re interested in historic buildings, traditional materials, or heritage craft skills, this is a great opportunity to see specialist techniques up close.

Leadwork plays a vital role in protecting historic roofs and structures, and skilled craftspeople are essential to the long-term conservation of our built heritage.

This event is made possible thanks to National Lottery players and The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Melbourne Hall.
