Drawing Wirksworth - 17th May 2025

Many thanks to @jennystevensonart for delivering an excellent sketching session on Saturday morning - ‘Drawing Wirksworth’.

Participants enjoyed a talk by DHBT trustee, Barry Joyce, relating to some of the historic buildings in the town.

They then explored the architectural heritage for themselves - focusing on Hopkinson’s House and St Mary’s Church - observing, interpreting and connecting through drawing.

The finished sketches were all great to see!
