Caring for Derbyshire's Historic Buildings

Members of the DHBT Academy meeting in 2020.

As part of the DHBT's ongoing work to support the long-term conservation of the historic built environment, we have developed a dedicated Academy.

The Academy is designed to provide help and support to historic building owners and custodians in the county. As part of the Academy we are offering a free initial consultation service for Friends of the DHBT that have queries or specific issues about their historic buildings in Derbyshire.

The service is designed to offer valuable guidance, using the Trust's collective knowledge and extensive network of Heritage and Conservation professionals, trades and crafts to support historic building owners and custodians with the issues and challenges that maintaining and developing historic buildings in the county can often present. You can find out ore about the work of the Academy through the Spring Academy Newsletter.
