Part of the DHBT's role is support and promotion of conservation endeavours in Derbyshire.
It chairs twice yearly meetings of the liaison group 'Conservation Officers in Derbyshire' (CODS) and the 14th November meeting was hosted at the Heritage Crafts & Building Skills Centre and Jordan Heritage Roofing (JHR) in Tibshelf.
JHR’s founder, Richard Jordan, is a highly qualified and time-served roof slater and tiler.
Richard has now set up a Heritage Crafts & Building Skills Centre. His passion and interest for our built heritage developed whilst working with his father, his mentor at the start of his career.
