Recruiting a University of Derby Intern - role now live for current students & recent graduates

We were at the @derbyuni ‘Part-time Work and Volunteering Fair’ yesterday, talking to people about our current @heritagefunduk project.

We spoke to a lot of students at the @derbyuni Part Time Work & Careers Fair yesterday - it was great to see such enthusiasm!

The 15hr a week Heritage Development Support Officer internship (part of the Derby Talent Programme - 450hrs total between 4th Nov and 27th June 2025) is now live on the University’s careers portal.

It’s open to current students and recent graduates.

This is a great opportunity to work on a @heritagefunduk project and acquire new skills and knowledge. Perfect for those looking to pursue careers in history & heritage, business, architecture, marketing etc.

Part of the role will be getting to grips with the buildings at risk app and supporting volunteers to start using it to undertake condition surveys (firstly in the Amber Valley are and then in Derby City). Here's Heritage Development Officer, Anna, demonstrating the app.
