Thank you to Ackroyd, our contractors, who arranged four excellent ‘meet the craftsmen’ tours of Wingfield Station this week.
We especially appreciated them allowing the tours to take place during these very busy final weeks!
So many skilled people have played a part in the restoration project - during both the Historic England urgent repair works and the National Lottery Heritage Fund current phase.
It’s great to hear more about the knowledge, passion and experience of those involved.
