Ackroyd Construction have hosted 5 construction students (each on 30hr placements) from Chesterfield College at Wingfield Station.
This has given the students experience of working on a real construction site and the health and safety issues that come with that, as well as a basic understanding of the general principals of working on a historic building.
Well done to all five participants and thanks to both Chesterfield College Official for liaising with the contractor to make this happen and Ackroyd for accomodating students whilst working on a tight programme.
