Derbyshire Heritage Buildings Trust invites you to join us on our first 2-day pre-1919 buildings training course for 2024.
Spend two days at the beautifully restored Wingfield Station in Alfreton and earn a Level 3 qualification in Understanding Repair and Maintenance of Traditional pre-1919 Buildings.
No previous experience needed to take part in this NOCN skills training programme. The course will consist of a mixture of classroom theory and practical skills. Lunch and teas/coffees are provided.

Course: Level 3 Award in Understanding Repair and Maintenance of Traditional pre-1919 Buildings
Entry Requirements: There are no formal entry requirements to take this qualification. This qualification can be undertaken without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area however, an understanding of construction techniques would be advantageous.
Facilitator: This course is delivered by Richard Jordan, a certified trainer and specialist in historic roofing who is based in Derbyshire.
Credit Value: 2 Credits, Level 3 certification in understanding the repair and maintenance of Pre-1919 buildings.
Assessment: The assessment requirement for this qualification is a multiple-choice knowledge test. This qualification is not graded.
Knowledge Test: The knowledge assessment for this qualification is paper based. The test is externally set and marked, a multiple-choice test where learners can choose one of four possible answers. The test covers the learning outcomes for the mandatory unit and confirms that the learning has been met.
