Over 180 people logged in to hear Kieran Lee, of the Friends of Bennerley Viaduct, present his fascinating talk about 'the iron giant'.
Bennerley Viaduct is a wrought iron wonder, which was entirely fabricated in Derby. The story includes the reasons for building the viaduct, the ingenuity of its engineering, the working life of the viaduct and the Zeppelin bombings. Kieran also explains the future plans of the Friends.
